Welcome to The Car Agent Co. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and communications. By accessing our website or hiring us to negotiate a vehicle deal, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Service

The Car Agent Co. provides car price negotiation and consultation services.
We act as an independent advocate for our clients to help them secure the most competitive purchase or lease terms possible from licensed dealerships or private sellers.

We do not sell vehicles, provide financing, or act as a dealership or lender.
All final transactions occur directly between the buyer (you) and the seller (dealership or private party).

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Have legal authority to enter into a contract

By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Fees & Payment

  • Our standard negotiation fee is $800. If we do not save you $800 from the purchase price of the vehicle you are interested in, you are refunded in full.

  • Payment may be made by credit/debit card, electronic transfer, or other approved methods optioned on our payment page.

  • All fees are non-refundable once service is completed, unless otherwise stated in writing.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your vehicle preferences, target price, trade-in, and financing situation.

  • Respond promptly to communications and provide any documents or dealer quotes needed for negotiation.

  • Handle the final transaction directly with the dealership or seller once we’ve completed the negotiation process. This is just the payment. If the dealer attempts to do anything other than just collect payment, please contact us. Our service only stops once you have the keys.

5. No Guarantee of Specific Outcome

While we guarantee you will save at least the amount equal to your service fee (or you will not be charged), we cannot guarantee:

  • Availability of specific vehicles, colors, trims, or models

  • Acceptance of negotiated prices by any dealership or seller

  • Approval for financing or credit

  • Any future pricing trends after the negotiation is complete

Our guarantee only applies to the negotiation results directly handled by The Car Agent Co. for your active engagement.

6. Communication Consent

By submitting your phone number or email, you consent to receive calls, text messages, and emails related to your inquiry and services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Car Agent Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Dealer actions, errors, or representations

  • Vehicle availability or pricing changes

  • Financing, registration, or title issues

  • Client decisions made before, during, or after negotiations

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us for the specific service in question.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including logos, graphics, text, and brand names — is owned by The Car Agent Co. and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cowlitz County, Washington.

10. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will take effect immediately when posted to our website.
Your continued use of our services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
